Owen Sound Attack Will Face Hamilton Bulldogs in OHL Championship Series

The Owen Sound Attack have reached the Ontario Hockey League Championship Series for the first time in franchise history.

The Attack advanced after sweeping the Kingston Frontenacs in their Western Conference Finals series. The Bulldogs advanced to the championship round after knocking off the Mississauga Steelheads in the Easter Conference Finals.

The Bulldogs finished the regular season with the best record in the OHL at 51-13-4-0 and won two out of three regular-season meetings with the Attack. The Attack finished the regular season with a record of 42-20-5-1 and finished second in the Western Conference.

The Attack have been one of the hottest teams in the OHL since January and have won 24 of their last 29 games.

The Attack are led by Vegas Golden Knights prospect Nolan Burke, who leads the OHL in scoring with 119 points and had 13 points in eight playoff games entering the championship round.

The Bulldogs have also been a force in the playoffs and are led by Boston Bruins prospect Jan Mysak, who had nine points in seven playoff games before the championship round.

The Attack and the Bulldogs meet for the OHL title.

The OHL Championship Series will begin Friday night in Hamilton. The Bulldogs are making their second appearance in the championship series in franchise history, winning the title in 2018.
