A new study suggests that a planetary health diet can have significant benefits for your health.

In a recent study published in the journal The Lancet, researchers found that people who ate a healthy sustainable diet had a substantially lower risk of death from all causes, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer.

The study included over 110,000 people from 18 countries. Participants were followed for an average of 10 years, during which time their diets and health outcomes were tracked.

The researchers found that people who ate a diet that was high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts and seeds had a 20% lower risk of death from all causes compared to people who ate a diet that was high in processed foods, red meat, and sugary drinks.

The study also found that people who ate a healthy sustainable diet had a 19% lower risk of death from cardiovascular disease, a 16% lower risk of death from type 2 diabetes, and a 13% lower risk of death from certain types of cancer.
